It's amazing how our self-image follows from our youth

When I was about 8 or 9 years old, I had a complex about being fat. For whatever reason, I thought I had to have a Charles Atlas physique. Feeling self-conscious I asked, "Mom, am I fat?" I was crushed when she responded, "Adrian, you're not fat....you're husky." Well, even as a child, I wasn't stupid. The implication was that I am fat, even if only husky; to me, "husky" was just another word for "fat."

My name is Adrian Dean Horien and I lost 45 pounds in about 3 months; going from 240 lbs to 195 lbs. I would like to help you achieve your weight loss goal too! I know how, and I have assembled the answers to anyone's trouble losing the weight, and to keep it off. You see, I don't think I'm fat, or even husky anymore. It doesn't matter where the motivation comes from

Not long ago, I had a health scare that "reached up and grabbed me" (so to speak), which sent a fear through me that I never had until that point. It was as if my fear decided for me that I had to do something - but what? With a life or death decision in front of me, I chose life.

It seemed reasonable to me the first step was to lose weight. If I knew nothing else, I knew I was overweight, in spite of my denial. You know: the sort of denial that makes you turn just right when you're looking in the mirror so you look thinner to yourself. Why are we so willing to lie to ourselves? Each one of us is always the first to know when we try to convince our self of something that isn't true. I have a saying that I've used for 20 years in my business of Sales Management: "if the truth isn't good enough, what makes you think a lie is?"Good advice! It's tough to implement sometimes. We all need reminders - me too.

Once I came to my senses, and decided to stop being dishonest with myself, I did the only thing an honest man can do; I consulted my wife for help. My wife knows a lot about this stuff, and was very helpful to me. Between her coaching and what I have come to learn by my study, networking and experiences, this simple approach was born, and because it is born in experience and not dreamed up to "sell you stuff" I decided to put my name on it and call it "Adrian's Go From Fat to Fit."

If you want to take these truths and go on to become something more than happily fit, that's up to you - I will help you establish the foundation to do that. In a nutshell, here's what I did:

The first thing was to stop eating processed foods. That meant I exchanged fast food for good food. In Adrian's Go From Fat to Fit, I will teach you what good food is, and why it is good.

Then I got my big fat arse up off of the couch. I started to walk in the evening (or morning). I pushed myself to go 2 miles at a fast pace - about 3.5 mph. It didn't take long to find myself able to go 3, 5 and 7 miles at 4.2 mph, on a course that included hills. Before long, I implemented my specialized exercise program, which can be done anywhere at any time, using just body-weight. No equipment is required. This is more than a high school level calisthenics routine.

After a while I got serious about trying to lose fat more quickly, and did what has become Adrian's Go From Fat to Fit Fruit Fast. This will super charge your fat and weight loss like nothing else; and, because you'll be eating throughout the day, you won't get hungry either.

Throughout life, we learn things that become important and key truths that guide us. Some people can turn these truths into a system for others, like a book, manual or teaching course of some sort.
